Completing the package is Venezuelan-born, New York-bred artist, illich Mujica, who offers his own fresh perspective on ‘Fluid’ with another spell binding remix. For their 9th release on Around Midnight and the second volume of their Midnight to Six compilation, French duo Chambord opted for a friendly gathering between established and up and coming artists : 6 tracks, one per hour from midnight to 6am, meant to be the latest development of a full nocturnal exploration.
The party starts with two artists from the Parisian scene, surprisingly playing out of their field. While Ramyen, an unmissable figure of French deep house parties and decks, showers us with a delightful “Beach House”, where sunny and exotic children vocals coupled with organic woody touches contrast with in-depth percussions for an outdoor glimpse at nature, the newcomer Philou puts a moonlit touch of acid on her first release, “Raposa Rave”, where her South American inspirations meet a punchy bassline that elegantly takes you further into the depths of the night.
In contrast, “Falling” by Emir Sagiroglu & Tal Barahya, rising Turkish DJs and producers, takes us back to the radiant shores of their homeland with a carefully balanced mix of delicate piano touches and scratchy trendy beats on which ethereal vocals curl as gently as the waves on the beach at sunset.
A close friend and supporter of Chambord, Creange’s well named “Coming Home” signs his second appearance on Around Midnight, where the mastered house/funk inspired bassline and vocals provide us with the perfect drive to rush to the dancefloor.
In the same 90s vibe, the Australian newcomers of Number Games demonstrate with “Support Life” that the best days of house music may be ahead of us, with a refreshing downtempo approach that can fit both indoor and outdoor venues. And last but not least, a charming intake on the brilliant AM002 release, “Surya Rising” by Ilich Mujica, here remixed by a talented duo from the South of France, MurisaVar, who give to the track a more laid back color thanks to shifted rhythms and playful loops : that joyful and powerful approach made them win the first AM remix contest last September.

Based on in-depth lyrics about inner demons and self-improvement, Wahm’s original “Bloomed” takes us on a path of liberation. Musically, the initial dark roaring vibe of a 90s guitar coupled with deep percussions then opens on an bright combination of playful vocals and ascending keyboards : a powerful ray of light that will bring crowds together at any time of day or night, ultimately to thrive on the live performance Wahm currently has in the works.
Another renowned French duo and a forever inspiration to Chambord, DOP took the bet to make “Bloomed” travel to the sunny shores of the world, from Ibiza to Tulum, thanks to a wavy rhythm, a slightly accelerated pitch and an indepth effect on the vocals that will put the track on many DJ’s map for an afternoon or an early night session.

With his EP ″1999″, Ary Sya take us back to the good old days of Deep house music with his energetic sounds. His track ″1999″ transcend the opposites, the day and the night, the light and the darkness ; with it’s robotic vocals and a roaring baseline, assorted with a nice progression of chords.
″White Smoke″ puts the groove forward with two beautiful voices mixing and dancing together. This track drives us directly into a sunset on a beautiful beach surrounded by friends.

For its sixth release, Around Midnight chose to showcase the mesmerizing work of French artist Rammö. “Paradox Plant” leads us to an elevation in slow motion thanks to spellbinding drums combined with distorted synthesizers and incantatory vocals. The track slowly walks us into the depths of our perceptions, where green fumes eventually transform into beautiful and rewarding visions
At the core of the second track, “Pablo’s Dream”, modulated French lyrics stand out for the voice of our subconscious gently carrying us into a paradoxical reality. For their fifth release on their own label Around Midnight, French duo Chambord entrusted both Fate and Friendship : this new “Fortune Teller” EP can be read like palm lines where 3 originals are craftily intertwined with 3 remixes.
Chambord’s long-term friendship with French DJ and producer Roze allowed them to develop a slightly different sound thread running through the whole EP : mystical beats support organic guitars and/or piano anthems which act as the main characters of the story. The remix of each track can be then heard as a sequel, with its own color and dramatic touch.
“Fortune Teller” sets the tone with its ascending and mesmerizing beats, while the guitar pinches drop like touches of sunlight on a peaceful sea of piano notes. On Valentin Huedo’s version one can sense his Ibiza touch thanks to the addition of diffracted vocals and the strengthening of the baseline that turn the track into an essential club anthem.
“The Alchemist” puts the drums forward with a “bonfire” vibe that is heightened by tribe vocals. In contrast, the light electronic tunes bring a sense of togetherness : a sound formula that rises high into the night sky. In Wahm’s lively remix, the psychedelic aspect of the track is enhanced with a thrilling combination of higher pitches and electric guitar, reminders of the roaring scene of Casablanca, Wahm’s native city.
“Merlin Diviner” embarks us on a soulful journey with its warm baseline mixed with solar guitar touches and ascending keyboards effects inspired by Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”. For his second collaboration with Chambord, Dandara throws a dark yet enchanting touch to the track by using deeper beats that make the guitar part shine even more, thereby tracing a stellar pathway to any club or festival.

For their fourth release on their own label Around Midnight, French duo Chambord takes us to their own kind of party through a carefully curated compilation.
6 tracks, one per hour from midnight to 6am, meant to be the first volume of a full nocturnal exploration. From Midnight to Six is also the occasion for Chambord to let us have a look into the enchanting treasure chest they recently collected thanks to their many travels and encounters.
Each track is a well-kept gem, containing the story of a joyful meeting, both musical and human, that lead to an out-of-the-box project, always enchanting, sometimes surprising. “Encore” by Chambord and Creange sets the pace for an energetic and enlightening night with its roaring baseline assorted with sharp synthesizers and sexy French vocals.
“Got To Learn” embodies a beautiful travel through space and time : in his remix Joep Mencke dropped an introspection touch to the Mâhfoud version by deepening the baseline, therefore transforming the original Korgis’slow hit from the 1980s into a track that is fully club-ready for 2023.
With “Sorbet”, Swiss DJ and producer Dandara drives us onto a peaceful and sun-kissed journey in contrast with his previous body of work; but do not be mistaken, the track’s powerful baseline and trumpets paired with an intriguing out-of-space vibe and joyful bells will certainly make you dance further into the night.
It’s already 3am, and time to put some speed back into the mix thanks to the multi-faceted talent of Turkish DJ and producer Toprak Baris. He shows with “Fuego” a new and deeper side of his art topped by enchanting Spanish vocals that gently take us by the hand into a world of enlightened darkness.
“What You Wanted” by French DJs and producers Meloko and Selim Sivade assert them as the new rising stars of the electronic scene thanks to their own signature flavor of exotic beats. The track elegantly leads to the point where you can either go home happy or pursue your night refueled with an ascending energy. And finally,
Deenara’s “The Noble Act” answers to the 6am call back to the dancefloor with its deep beats and profound vocals that invite to search further into ourselves while keeping on moving. For its third release, Around Midnight chose to highlight the latest work of Dutch producer and DJ Joep Mencke.
Since his debut in 2017, he has been gracing the decks of the Gardens of Babylon, ADE, Burning Man and Afrikaburn to name just a few, and released no less than 7 EPs and 1 album. He quickly met international public acclaim with Trust the Wild (Klassified,2018) and Asiri (Happy Camper,2019) which respectively show 1,4 and 3 million streams on Spotify up to date.
Mindfully crafted as guided meditations thanks to a focus on sound frequencies and breath work, his DJ sets and productions aim at bringing his audience onto an inward journey in which music acts as a tool for exploration and transformation.

Around Midnight is the new label curated by the French duo Chambord. The duo wants to create a new energy with this imprint and wants to promote a wide range of electronic music. From newcomers to already known artists, without any musical limits.
For their first release, Chambord choose to release their highly demanded remix of Radiohead. The English rock band approved their powerful and electronic version from their anthem track Reckoner released in 2007 on their album In Rainbows.
The original track received a major support from the public and always had a special place in the French duo heart.
By keeping the voice and the guitare from the original track, the remix is a deep and a progressive track with a very tense rythmique and an hypnotic melody. Growing with tights arps, the groove and the lead of this track adds an extra something of emotion and melancholy.
The remix encompasses Chambord’s unique eclectic musical style, yet keeps key elements of the original harmonic tones. Starting softly, the track builds throughout with melodious sounds and mesmerizing atmospheres.
